Message from Pastor Filipek
Pastor Filipek sent the following to include in this week’s email:

Blessed Saints of Grace and Trinity,
My family and I are excited to be moving in the upcoming week. Our plan is to arrive the afternoon of August 17. In the weeks leading up to my installation, we will be busy getting the kids ready for school, unpacking boxes, setting up the house, and the studies at the churches. Even though there will be much to do, I am eager to meet you and gather around our Lord Jesus with you. Therefore, on Sundays August 21st and 28th, I will be attending Divine Services at Grace and Trinity along with Bible studies. I realize summer is almost over and there are many last-minute activities and vacations, but I truly desire for you all to be in attendance so that I may meet you. I thank the Lord that He has called me to serve you as pastor. Christ’s peace be with you all. I will see you soon.

Preparing for Pr. Filipek and Family
As he said in is his message above, current plan is the Filipek family and moving truck will be arriving August 17th, Wednesday afternoon. If you can, please come help with moving the family in.
It would be helpful if we could help the Filipek’s stock the refrigerator when they arrive. If you’d like to contribute a gift card, or towards a welcome and groceries gift card, see Bob, or Curt or Kendall.
Installation
Installation of Pr. Filipek as Senior Pastor of Grace and Trinity congregations will be Saturday September 3, 3:00pm at Grace. There will be a reception after the service in Mueller Fellowship Hall.
Call Committee
Call committee members, please turn your copy of the call list documentation to the church office at Grace or Trinity, or to Bob or Curt.
Wednesday Bible Study and Divine Service
Pastor Tim Meyer has agreed to serve during the summer at Grace on Wednesday mornings Matins (9am), bible study (9:30am), and Divine Service (11am). Bible study is the book of James, we’re going slow and deep, we’re still in chapter 1. Please join us!
Trinity Parking Lot Resurfacing
Demolition and construction of the Trinity parking lot started this week. The old surface is torn out, grading has started, and forms for the new concrete are going in. There will be no parking on the new concrete surface until cured, probably 10-14 days. Parking will be on the street for Wednesday evening and Sunday morning next week.
